The annual Las Vegas vacation

by Neighborhood Vegan

It’s that time of year again.

The annual pilgrimage to Las Vegas. There was a time I would’ve said I’d never go. Now though, this will be the 6th year in nearly a row (except for 2020 – the year that wasn’t). It’s a trip I look forward to each year and this year is no different. I love the desert, the gaudiness, the people-watching, and the overall escapism the city offers. If I could, I would probably move there.

I’ve gone a bit list-crazy.

The trip isn’t for another month, but I’ve already started planning. By planning, I mean making all different kinds of lists; restaurants to try, cocktail bars to grab a drink or two, and a “must do” list of places to go. I’ve even came up with a scavenger hunt if you can believe it, with things like buying a tacky souvenir under $20 and finding a decadent dessert.

Speaking of restaurants.

Over the years that I’ve been visiting Las Vegas, the vegan options at restaurants has only gotten better (the number of all-vegan restaurants has increased too!). There are more spots than last year that are on my list of places to check out.

If you’re planning a visit yourself, Vegans Baby is a great resource that makes it easy to scout out restaurants in Vegas that are vegan or have vegan options.

Photos, photos, and more photos.

I really slacked when it came to taking photos during last year’s trip. I plan to make up for that this year. Be sure to follow me on Instagram to catch the latest!
