Another vegan blog?
I know what you're thinking. Do we really need one more?

Honestly, I've asked myself the same thing.

I can’t even count how many times I’ve started, stopped, second-guessed, and talked myself out of it over the past few years. I wasn’t even sure I should have a vegan blog at all.

But… here we are.

I’m Asia, your friendly neighborhood vegan, and I’ve been an ethical vegan for 15 years now. If you want the full backstory on how I got here, you can read my journey to veganism here.

What I do know is this: I have a perspective on veganism (and activism) that I don’t see talked about enough, and I’m finally finding my voice. I want to share it with you.

Expect a mix of information and inspiration, with some real-life stories, little adventures, and the occasional pep talk along the way.

So if you’ve ever felt like being vegan in a non-vegan world is… a lot…  pull up a seat. Let’s do this together. Come along for the ride while my voice keeps growing.

We only understand a mere fraction of the complex lives of animals. As humans we have a responsibility to protect those lives, not destroy them because we think we have some arbitrary dominion over them. If we think we are somehow better, then we need to start DOING better.
